Is there anyone who served in 1963 at Lingfield? My name was Carilyn Warden then. Went on to do clerical training at Yeovil before being posted to Larkhill. Met my future husband in Cyprus while serving in Episkopi, and this May we celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Would love to hear from anyone who may remember me. Thank you. W/420570

I knew a girl called Sharon Surridge when she was stationed at COD Donnington in 1969/70. It would be great to catch up after all these years.

Hi, I am clutching at straw here as it's a long time ago. I found out I was adopted at the age of 50. My birth mothers name was Dorothy Crisp and she was 22 when she gave birth to me in 1954. She trained as a cook at WRAC in Guildford then worked as a cook in the Officers Mess at Hounslow. She met a Sergeant called George, (thats all I know), and they had a brief fling in the summer of 1953. He never knew about me as he was posted abroad then. George came from the Newcastle area. I would love to know if anyone remembers my birth mother or could give me any more information. Many many thanks. Pati

Hi, I did my basic training at Guilford in 1960 my name being at that time Mary Guest and met my best friend June Boardman from Nottingham. We were in the MRS together with tonsillitis before passing out. We went to Catterick for Signals training in 1961 then went on to Boddington 14 Signal Regiment in Gloucester. We got split up from there but kept in touch and met up again in Hong Kong 1962. She had a boyfriend named Geordie Whitehead and left there before I did. We both got married and the last time I saw her we were both pregnant with our first child. I never knew her married name but would love any information on her whereabouts, like to hear from anyone else who remembers me from that time frame.
