Hi, my name is Betty Watts, I was at Guilford around about June, July or August 1956 where I did my training, before being posted to Chilwell in Nottingham, where I was a technical storewoman attached to the RAOC Corp, until the WRAC was disbanded from there and I was then posted to Richmond in Surrey where I served in the postal corp for a while, from there I went to Bicester in Donnington, again as a technical storewoman, and was there until I got married in January 1958.
My maiden name was Whatmore, if any one remembers me from any of those postings I would love to hear from them.

Hi, I am hoping to make contact with anyone who organises the biennial events for Proof and Experimental Shoeburyness or could give some information regarding this. I am in contact with at least 2 couples who served there with myself in the late 1960's. Please email me if anyone could help. Thanks

I enlisted in February 1975, basic training in Guildford then trade training in Catterick as a Communication Centre Operator. I was posted to Hong Kong for two years before returning to Aldershot for the last 6 months of my 3 years service. I am terrible for remembering names so if anyone remembers me, please get in touch. The only person I am still in touch with is Linda Fitzimmons (nee Parker) and have just made contact through a social network with Wendy Hooton.
