Colonial and Commonwealth Servicewomen in the British Army

The National Army Museum is currently working on a project regarding the service of colonial and Commonwealth soldiers in the British Army. They are looking to interview female veterans (so far we have only had male veterans come forward) who were born in ex-colonial or Commonwealth countries and served in the British Army. They want to document why they joined the British Army; their experiences, good and bad, and the contributions that colonial/Commonwealth soldiers make. If you would like to assist please email Kirsty Parsons, Community Curator, National Army Museum on or phone 020 7881 2459
