Centenary of the formation of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps

On the 7th July 2017, The Royal British Legion intend to lead commemorations at the National Memorial Arboretum marking the centenary of the formation of the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. The Legion’s intent is to work closely with the widest possible range of relevant partners to ensure that attendance at the ceremony most accurately reflects the breadth of contribution by women in war, whilst appropriately marking this important anniversary. Further details will be made available via Associations and on the Legion's website in due course. Image copyright IWM Q5734
